About Us
Company mission
When we launched our Bed Bug Inspection in the Spring of 2010, it was with the idea that one of the better-trained dogs in the country would supplement our ability to provide a high quality visual bed bug inspection.
We’ve since become one of the country’s most experienced bed bug inspection companies because we’ve continued to provide as much service to our customers as possible, from the time we receive the phone call, to the time we spend with our customers at the inspection location.
Our bed bug inspections are as qualified as any inspection in the industry, as we supplement top tier K9 inspections with experienced, licensed visual inspections.
Additionally, the bed bug preventative products we suggest to our customers on site allows their problem & concerns to be addressed immediately.
Eric miller
Our bed bed inspector and K9 handler, Eric Miller, has as much on site K9 & visual inspection experience as any inspector currently servicing this problem nationwide. From single-family private homes to apartments, and from commercial space to industrial warehouses, Eric has the experience you should expect when hiring someone to perform your inspection.
payo
Our first dog, Payo, was a graduate of the J&K Canine Academy, which is recognized as one of the leading bed bug scent detection training facility in the country. Payo’s training was certified by NESDCA – the leading national organization that verifies the qualifications of bed bug-detecting dogs. In the 2nd half of 2010 Payo performed as many bed bug inspections as any dog in the industry, and she never looked back. Sadly, Payo passed away in June of 2020 at the age of 12 years old.
Maggie
In February of 2016, we’d added a 2nd K9 to our bed bug inspection arsenal: Maggie – a beautiful 7 year old beagle. She always supplemented the work Payo did incredibly well. Now, Maggie continues to perform bed bug inspections tirelessly & skillfully. Maggie is also a graduate of the J&K Canine Academy, and she passed her most recent NESDCA re-certification on February 2, 2023, her 8th successful certification in as many tries.
mocha
In February of 2022, we added another K9 to our team: Mocha – a wonderful 1 year old rat terrier with a fantastic work ethic. Mocha was succesfully trained at Scentsational Hounds, a Colorado-based company, under the tutelage of master trainer Cathy Palmer, and her training was further evaluated by Kilo 12 & Bun Montgomery, one of the most experienced bed bug dog trainers in the country. Mocha passed her initial NESDCA certification on February 2, 2023
